Cookie Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

This policy explains how Tell Me (tellme.bio) uses cookies and similar technologies. We've tried to keep it as straightforward as possible.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you use the site.

2. Cookies we use

Counting visits without cookies

Whether or not you accept analytics cookies, our server keeps a simple tally of how many times each page is viewed and how many visits the site gets, along with how far down each page people tend to scroll, which sections they reach, which links get clicked, and which of our own posted links (the campaign tags on the address, if any) brought the visit. It sets no cookies for this and stores nothing about you alongside the counts — no IP address, no browser details, nothing that could identify you. It's just numbers per page per hour, so we can see which pages people find useful and which parts of them are worth reading.

Records of each visit

Separately, and also whether or not you accept analytics cookies, we keep a record of each visit: the IP address it came from, the browser and device, the page it started on and what sent it there, then the pages it read in order, how long on each, how far down and which links were clicked. It sets no extra cookie — the pages of one visit are linked by the session cookie the site already needs (tellme_session), and the visit number comes from tm_visits. The IP address is removed after 30 days and the record deleted after 90. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we don't keep these records at all. Our Privacy Policy explains why we keep them and how to object.

3. Third-party cookies

Stripe

Our payment provider Stripe may set cookies when you visit our pricing or checkout pages. These are used for fraud prevention and payment processing. See Stripe's cookie policy.
